Where's Sammy? + May 28, 1970 Playlist

Keep that link handy.
It's the address of only the coolest 70s (Fridays thru Saturday) and 60s (Sat thru Mon AM) music ....anywhere! All the features that made The Lost And Found Oldies Show are there including hits AND rarities, jingles, vintage commercials, TV themes, etc. as well as LIVE commentary from Yours Truly and special guests. The live portion times will vary week to week but will be posted on the Program Schedule page so you can keep in touch.
When the station's not playing 60s and 70s, it will be Acoustic Singer Songwriter Folk Monday thru Friday including many local artists.
I really enjoy my time at WVKR; I think that's obvious. My schedule for TLAFOS might be a bit intermittent as I get this venture going, but in the meantime, when you're not listening to 91.3 FM or http://www.wvkr.org/ please check out Cold Spring Radio and keep in touch by visiting
thanks for listening,
Sam

May 21 Playlist featuring Two Sams

Special thanks to Sam The Tattoo Man for providing us with all the tunes on today's show:

That's Sam and his lovely daughter Gina, a very polite, personable, beautiful young woman in the photo above. I had a really cool shot of Gina's pants with Beatles lyrics printed on them, but it didn't turn out. Really nice people, though, and some great stuff musically from STTM!
Friday May 28 is my 6th Anniversary in the 3pm Friday time slot on WVKR and Primitive George will be celebrating his TENTH Anniversary on the station, so definitely tune in.
Thanks for listening. Email lostoldies@yahoo.com and visit www.coldspringradio.com as well.

May 14,1972 Lost And Found SOULDIES Playlist

Counted down The Billboard Top 50 Soul Singles from this week in 1972. Had to skip a few but managed to feature over 30 records including the full length version of our closing theme "Walk In The Night" by Jr. Walker & The All Stars. Background jams were from the Eddy Senay album "Hot Thang" whose title track was featured on the show and is one of my personal favorites, one I haven't heard in a dog's age, having only recently acquired the album.
