That's Sam and his lovely daughter Gina, a very polite, personable, beautiful young woman in the photo above. I had a really cool shot of Gina's pants with Beatles lyrics printed on them, but it didn't turn out. Really nice people, though, and some great stuff musically from STTM!

Friday May 28 is my 6th Anniversary in the 3pm Friday time slot on WVKR and Primitive George will be celebrating his TENTH Anniversary on the station, so definitely tune in.

May 14,1972 Lost And Found SOULDIES Playlist

Counted down The Billboard Top 50 Soul Singles from this week in 1972. Had to skip a few but managed to feature over 30 records including the full length version of our closing theme "Walk In The Night" by Jr. Walker & The All Stars. Background jams were from the Eddy Senay album "Hot Thang" whose title track was featured on the show and is one of my personal favorites, one I haven't heard in a dog's age, having only recently acquired the album.

AM Radio Gold from this date in 1970 except for the Bee Gees' "Then You Left Me" from their "Cucumber Castle" album which was on the LP charts 40 years ago. Thanks for all the great calls. Happy Birthday, Big Joe!
